Say Goodbye to Tan Lines for Your Wedding
No bride wants to have awkward tan lines on her wedding day, or a sunburn! The best way to avoid having an uneven tan are as followed-
- Make sure to wear sunscreen while outside for long periods of time for at least a month before your wedding. Peeling is a huge no no for spray tans! This is why-if your skin peels after you get your tan, your peeling skin will be your normal skin color, and then you will have patches of peeled skin. The skin underneath (that will be revealed when the skin peels off) is going to be untanned while the rest of your body is going to have the darker, tanned skin. Obviously this is going to create a very patchy and uneven finish. If you wear sunscreen it will prevent you from having those funny tan-lines, peeling, a painful sunburn, and of course protect your skin.
- If you do have peeling, you need to scrub your skin with a washcloth (even though it may hurt) and make sure all of the dead skin comes off, also we recommend using coconut oil to moisturize that spot with after you get out of the shower/bath.
Lastly, we can help to hide tan-lines, but we cannot completely get rid of them, so make sure you follow these tips to make sure your tan looks amazing for your big day!
