Shopping and Trying on Clothing After Your Tan
Don’t Try on Clothes Right After Your Spray Tan!
Need to go shopping for clothes after you get your Airbrush Tan? Maybe not the best idea. Especially when WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING! You don’t want to Ruin New Clothes or your gorgeous tan.
For the first 12 hours after you get your tan, you will have a cosmetic bronzer on top of your skin which is basically a makeup that lets us know how dark we are making you. The bronzer can Ruin New Clothes, it usually doesn’t stain, but it could. So, just plan accordingly.
This WILL wash off in the shower that next day when you shower for the first time, it is NOT your tan, so do not freak out when you see color wash off of you. This cosmetic bronzer is a makeup so it CAN come off on clothing.
This is why we tell everyone to wear dark, loose clothing after you get your tan, and NO bras with straps afterwards because it can leave marks where your straps are. It is a bit sticky for the first few hours after your tan, which is completely normal. Also, consider what you put on right after your spray tan. You don’t want to ruin new clothes!
If possible, DO NOT try on clothing at stores for the first 12 hours after you get your tan and before you take a shower. The cosmetic bronzer can come off on clothing. Furthermore, the clothing you try on can rub against your skin and leave marks. Tight clothing is especially a big no no. Ladies, I know Victoria’s Secret is SEXY, but trying on lingerie after your tan is definitely not a good idea.
However, as SOON as you take your first shower, GO TRY ON THAT NEW DRESS! You will love the way the spray tan makes different colors POP against your glowing skin!
